Program and Project Management Services

CTI provides program and management services specifically tailored to public agencies responsible for delivering capital programs and projects, including municipalities, transit agencies, park districts and others, Our services range from conceptual planning to development of capital programming budgets. We also help agencies establish in-house project and document control systems. CTI puts an emphasis on cost-effective use of currently available technology, including database designs and spreadsheet solutions.
CTI’s services in capital project development include developing project work scopes and schedules, performing conceptual engineering, coordinating and managing consultant teams, monitoring and updating project schedules and budgets, and assistance in seeking sources for matching funding.

Grant Planning Services

Even in constrained economic times, public agencies are eligible for a variety of grants for public works project originating at the federal, state and local level. Often, staff is too overloaded to apply for these grants. One of CTI’s specialties is grant-writing and management services for anticipated public works projects. Woven into our philosophy for serving public agency clients is our dedication to locating and securing grant funding for public works projects. Our staff’s experience, enthusiasm, and creativity can help turn your municipal vision into a fully-funded public works project.
Our grant applications are accompanied by compelling graphics and exhibits (planning-level diagrams, plans, cost estimates). We collaborate with agency staff in developing an achievable and budget-constrained “vision” for a project or program. We are typically the “agency advocate” for grant funding applications, completing all necessary paperwork and assisting staff with stakeholder and public presentations. We then expedite delivery of these projects.
